Change

As I've been working on this project parts of it have changed, but the main focus has always stayed the same.

I started out with a very elaborate project. I was going to put on several different training sessions for the youth in our area, about presenting themselves and their ideas, making effective service projects, and connecting with people. After that the teenagers were going to do a service project for one organization, and then we were all going to bring many organizations and youth groups together to see the project and to connect with each other. It was a great idea, but it had its flaws.
The main flaw was that, though many were interested, it was hard to bring that many teenagers together multiple times, because too many of them had conflicts. So because of this flaw the project had to be adjusted. I decided that the main purpose of the project was to get the organizations and the teenagers together. So I created a volunteer fair, which would've been the very last thing completed in my original project. The young people in my area will connect with the organizations and learn about opportunities to volunteer in our community. I still believe that youth groups should learn about making effective service projects. So I will also give a presentation at the fair about how to make and complete an effective service project.
In conclusion, though much of the project has changed from the original idea, the focus has always been the same; Connect the organizations and the youth and teach them how to work together effectively and communicate well.
